PILGRIMAGE

Multiples of humble objects that people on the move (pilgrims, tinkers, nomads, etc.) might carry around and on occasions display in a celebration of the transient and the unassuming.
The colours, forms and materials of these pieces reflect their subject-matter. The impermanence of their structures echo the insecurities of an ever-changing life. They contain blends and clashes of opposites: the present and the past, the natural and the artificial, the permanent and the nomadic.
